SAND RELEASE VALVE
The OSI Sand Release Valve is a purging device installed at the end of the tailpipe assembly under the downhole Desander. The system works with the balance of the fluid column with respect to the pump movement.
When the pump move downstroke, the Sand Release Valve will allow the discharge of solids in the wellbore. In the same way, when the pump moves upstroke, the ball valve closes preventing the Desander from being bypassed.
• Extend the run life of the wells installed with downhole desanders.
• More cumulative production along the SRP life.
• Less expenses on well pullings.
